Laurent Taevernier

Laurent Taevernier is a Belgian art historian who has worked in the art world for over five years. Laurent has experience working in both auction houses and as an art advisor. Laurent is currently the Research & Client Liaison Coordinator at Phillips.

Laurent began their career in the art world as an intern at Christie's in April 2018. Laurent worked there for six months before moving to Pierre Bergé & Associates, where they worked as an administrative intern for four months. In September 2016, Laurent began working as a sales trainee at Axel Vervoordt NV. Laurent worked there for nine months before moving to Brussels Projects, where they worked as an investment advisor for two years.

Laurent has a bachelor's degree in art history from the University of Brussels. Laurent is fluent in French, Dutch, and English.

Laurent Taevernier completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at UBI Business School. Afterward, they pursued a career in the field of Foundation of Western Art at Sotheby's Institute of Art.
