Sean Cleary

Sean Cleary serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Americas at Phillips since February 2003, where responsibilities include conceptualizing and optimizing operational aspects of Phillips Auctioneers. Previously, Sean held roles such as Managing Director in New York, where strategic direction and leadership were key in managing various departments, and Worldwide Director of Operations, focusing on policy and system development. Prior to Phillips, Sean co-founded Brainpuppy, an interactive design agency, and worked as a Project Manager at Comvision, where client accounts and website designs were managed. Experience also includes a role as Gallery Manager at Joan Washburn Gallery and Client Bidding Manager at Christie's. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
