Aldo Contreras

Aldo Contreras has a diverse work experience. Aldo currently works as a Sr Embedded Systems Engineer at Phillips Connect since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Scientific Researcher at the Polytechnic University of Madrid from 2017 to 2022. From 2014 to 2017, they were an Assistant Professor at the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Manufacturing Engineer Robotic/Welding at John Deere, where they were responsible for manufacturing 56 welding processes with 104 employees and developing welding parameters with GMAW on robotics and manual processes. Aldo was also a member of the Robotics and Welding John Deere Mexico leadership team.

Aldo Contreras obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Saltillo in 2012. Aldo then went on to receive their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Artificial Intelligence from ITNL - Instituto Tecnológico de Nuevo León in 2016. Aldo is currently completing their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
