Heath W. Garwood is a civil litigation attorney whose practice encompasses a variety of fields, including oil and natural resource law, commercial insurance defense, complex commercial disputes, and property law. In addition, Heath represents individuals and entities with transactional and general counsel services.
Heath attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he was selected as an Anadarko Petroleum Corporation Scholar, was on the Dean’s Honor Roll, and earned an American Jurisprudence award for Wind Energy law. While in law school, he served as Class Secretary in OU Law’s Student Bar Association and was an active member in the Oil, Gas, and Natural Resources & Energy Society, the Business Law Society, and the Agricultural Law Society. In addition, Heath studied alternative dispute resolution at the University of Oxford, England.
Prior to attending law school, Heath received a dual bachelor’s degree in Finance and Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma. Throughout his time in undergraduate studies, Heath was employed in various land and title positions within the oil and gas industry.
