Tim Burwell

Tim Burwell, CBET, has extensive experience in the biomedical engineering field, currently serving as a Field Engineer at Philips since January 2021. Previously held roles include Chief Bio-Medical Technician and CBET II at Vidant Medical Center from September 2012 to January 2021, where responsibilities involved the preventive maintenance and service of clinical devices. Prior experience includes BMET II at Memorial Hospital and Service Manager at Highland TV & Appliance, Inc., where Tim managed repairs and customer relations. Earlier in the career, Tim also worked as a Head Repair Technician at Mr. Audio and served as a Teaching Assistant at Appalachian State University. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from Appalachian State University, earned between 1987 and 1992.
