Yong Mao

Yong Mao is the Vice President and Quartz Core Developer at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, focusing on R&D for data extraction and analysis in biomedical applications. With over 10 years of programming experience and exceptional expertise in pattern recognition, machine learning, and data mining, Yong has contributed significantly to the field through 20 academic publications. Previously, Yong held roles as a Senior Scientist at Philips Research and Research Scientist at both The Methodist Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center, enhancing their strong background in large-scale data analysis and visualization. Yong earned a PhD in Pattern Recognition from Zhejiang University, where they also served as an Assistant Professor.
