Kim Lundgren is an accomplished music educator and textile artist with extensive experience in music direction and education. Currently serving as the Music Director for New Horizons International Music Association since February 2022, Kim plans and directs all rehearsals for a concert band ensemble aimed at adults aged 50 and older. In addition, Kim has been a member of the Professional Development Roundtable since August 2020 and a Logistics staff member at Philmont Scout Ranch since May 2011, where responsibilities include communicating program information and implementing emergency procedures. Kim supports candidates aspiring for National Board Certification as a Professional Learning Facilitator and has a longstanding career as a self-employed music educator, producing unique textiles and serving as a private flute teacher. Educational qualifications include National Board Certification in Early Middle Childhood Music and a Master of Science in Education from National University.
