Donghai Ma is an experienced Software Engineer currently at Philo since September 2019. Previously, Donghai held roles such as Technical Lead for Software Development at Synamedia from October 2018 to September 2019, where the focus was on adding multi DRM support to the Packager product. Donghai spent over a decade at Cisco Systems, progressing from Senior Software Engineer to Technical Lead, spearheading the development of Cisco’s Adaptive Bitrate Packager product and contributing to the Cisco Visual Quality Experience. Additional experience includes key engineering roles at Ellacoya Networks, Bigband Networks, Mitel, Nortel Networks, and MPB Technologies, showing a strong background in software development across various technology sectors. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Robotics from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Precision Instrument from Tsinghua University.
