Clinical Project Manager at Philogen

Letizia Granieri, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience. Their most recent role is as a Clinical Project Manager at Philogen S.p.A, where they are currently employed. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Scientist at IEO Istituto Europeo di Oncologia from February 2017 to September 2022. In this role, they focused on melanoma screening, hit identification, target validation, and drug efficacy testing. Letizia also investigated combination therapies using FDA approved drugs and drugs used in specific clinical treatments.

Before their time at IEO Istituto Europeo di Oncologia, Dr. Granieri served as a Ph.D. Student at the University of Perugia from October 2014 to October 2016. During this period, they also served as a member of the Exam Commission for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Agriculture Faculty. Additionally, in September 2015, they were a Ph.D. Student at the University of Toronto, Department of Medicine and Pathobiology, specializing in triple-negative breast cancer research.

During their studies, Dr. Granieri gained international experience at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. From September 2015 to September 2016, they worked as a Ph.D. Student in collaboration with the SMART Laboratory for High-Throughput Screening Programs. Here, they focused on the validation and optimization of a next-generation microplate for high-throughput screening, using diverse chemical libraries to identify innovative chemical rings with biological or pharmacological activity.

In addition to their scientific positions, Dr. Granieri also worked as a Supply Teacher of Food Science at Istituto Alberghiero "De Carolis" in Spoleto, Italy, from February to May 2015.

Letizia Granieri, Ph.D., completed their education in a chronological order starting from their secondary school. From 2003 to 2008, they attended Liceo Scientico Jacopone da Todi, where they pursued scientific studies and earned their Secondary School degree. Letizia then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Biological Sciences from Università degli Studi di Perugia, studying from 2008 to 2011. Continuing their education, Letizia pursued a Master of Biology applied to Biomedical Research from Sapienza Università di Roma, completing this program from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Letizia has obtained a certification in ICH E6 (R2) GCP Investigator Site Personnel Training from FormazioneNelFarmaceutico.com in May 2022.
