Nancy Birkhölzer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in impact investing and sustainable innovation. Currently serving as a Startup Mentor for the Polycrisis Batch at PHINEO Startups and as an Angel Investor and Advisor at the House of Beautiful Business, Birkhölzer empowers startups to devise solutions for global challenges. Involvement as a Jury Member for both the German Design Awards and the UX Design Awards highlights a commitment to recognizing innovative design. As a Founding Investor and Advisory Board member at bcause, Birkhölzer contributes to addressing the SDG financing gap. Other roles include Shareholder at Borgo Batone and membership on the Supervisory Board of gut.org gAG, as well as participation in IHK Berlin's Expertteam for Sustainable Economic Metropolises. Previous experience includes leading global sustainable innovation efforts at PwC Deutschland after the acquisition of IXDS. Birkhölzer holds a Diplom in Interface Design from the Köln International School of Design and has pursued further education at Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design.
