Christian Lenz

Christian Lenz is currently the Sr. Director of IT for Corporate Apps, Analytics, and Aftermarket at PHINIA, a position started in July 2023, overseeing global teams in these domains. As a part-time lecturer at DHBW Mannheim since February 2022, Christian shares expertise in business applications with students. Previous experience at BorgWarner Inc. from November 2014 to July 2023 includes roles as Director of IT for Global Aftermarket and Business Applications & Analytics, along with Senior IT Manager. Earlier roles at TRW included managing the European SAP team and leading IT for specific business units. Christian's foundational experience in academia includes a Doctorate and research work at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, along with teaching engagements. Academic qualifications comprise a Promotion in Wirtschaftsinformatik and a Diplom in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, complemented by an exchange semester at the University of Birmingham.
