Terry McCorkle

Terry McCorkle has held various roles in the security industry since 2004. Terry began their career in the US Air Force as a Computer Operations Specialist. In 2008, they joined T-Mobile as a Sr Engineer, Infrastructure Security Design and Strategy. In 2009, they co-founded SpearPoint Security and served as CTO and Co-Founder, leading the technical design efforts for software used to identify vulnerable Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and embedded devices on enterprise networks. In 2010, they joined The Boeing Company as a Cyber Security Assessment Specialist (Information Security Red team). In 2011, they became President of Black Lodge Research, a non-profit organization focused on promoting and encouraging technical, scientific, and artistic skills. In 2013, they joined Qualys as Director, Product Management (Vulnerability Management), leading product management decisions and design decisions for vulnerability management and industrial control systems products. Terry also joined Cylance, Inc. as Consulting Director, co-founding SpearPoint Security which was acquired by Cylance. In 2014, they joined Splunk as Sr Manager, IoT Security Partnerships and Principal Security Strategist, leading efforts in IoT and industrial data security partnerships. In 2018, they joined RedCloud Consulting Inc. as Security Practice Lead and PhishCloud Inc. as CEO & Founder.

Terry McCorkle obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Capella University between 2004 and 2010. Terry also holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)².
