Matt Marx

Matt Marx is an accomplished professional in the fields of cybersecurity and cryptocurrency, currently serving as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of PhishFort, an anti-phishing company focused on enhancing security within the cryptocurrency sector since January 2021. Prior to this, Matt Marx has held the position of Director at iosiro since October 2017, where expertise is provided in guiding companies through the secure implementation of blockchain technologies. As a co-founder of Zenoic from October 2016 to October 2017, Matt Marx contributed to the development of advanced cybersecurity systems in South Africa. Additionally, experience as an Information Security Consultant at MWR InfoSecurity from January 2014 to May 2016 involved evaluating security protocols and formulating risk mitigation strategies. Matt Marx also provided insights as a private consultant for the European Commission on password contextualization in November 2014. Educational qualifications include an Honours degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Philosophy from Rhodes University, complemented by foundational studies at St. Johns College.
