Daniel Matthews

Daniel Matthews is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in advanced electronics and systems development. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Phlux Technology, Daniel oversees the creation of high-performance photodiodes for applications such as laser range finding and LiDAR. Prior to this role, Daniel was Director of Engineering at LiNa Energy, where leadership was demonstrated in the development of a Battery Energy Storage System, and as Head of Engineering at Trumeter, where multidisciplinary project management was a focus. Daniel also held key positions at Iceotope Technologies, Ultra Electronics Group, and Scanlite, contributing to significant projects in electronics design and engineering. Daniel holds an MBA from The University of Sheffield and multiple engineering degrees, including a Bachelor of Engineering from The University of Manchester.
