Mai Salama

Mai Salama is an accomplished pharmacovigilance professional with extensive experience in managing safety reporting and regulatory compliance across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Pharmacovigilance at Phoenix Clinical Research since 2021, Mai Salama oversees project teams as a subject matter expert, ensuring timely submission of safety reports and compliance with regulatory standards. Previous roles include Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance at EUROPEAN EGYPTIAN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES, where key achievements included establishing a compliant PV department, and various clinical pharmacist positions that focused on drug safety and rational drug use. Mai Salama holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Biomedical Informatics and Medical Statistics from Alexandria University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design.
