In 2004, Brian became a Senior Systems Analyst within the same company, focusing on research and development of products utilizing artificial intelligence. Brian worked on projects involving virtual agent research, sentiment analysis, text categorization, and machine learning models. Brian also played a role in defining and documenting the architecture for a scalable enterprise wireless billing solution.
Brian joined Red Lambda, Inc. in 2016 as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in developing big data cybersecurity solutions. Brian utilized analytics and employed technologies such as Apache Spark/Flink, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Neo4J, MongoDB, and TensorFlow to build machine learning models.
In 2018, Brian moved to Fractal Analytics as a Data Engineer. Brian worked with big data tools and technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hive, Neptune, HBase, Scala, Python, Java, and Zeppelin/Jupyter Notebooks. Brian also conducted real-time proof-of-concepts using Spring Boot within an AWS environment.
Most recently, Brian joined Phoenix Defense, LLC. in 2020 as a Software Engineer, focusing on simulation software development for sustainment operations. Brian worked on database and cache development to support the sustainment component.
