Ernest Shelton, MBA, is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in management and training roles. Currently serving as Base Manager Flagler at Phoenix East Aviation since April 2017, Shelton oversees flight school operations and provides aviation instruction. Previous roles include Project Manager at Burns & McDonnell, Airline Dispatcher at PSA Airlines, and various engineering and management positions at Dayton Power & Light and Delphi. Shelton's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, Bachelor's and Associate's degrees in Business Administration, and Associate's degrees in Aviation and Airframe Mechanics.

Founded in 1972, Phoenix East Aviation has gained recognition as one of the finest educational training facilities throughout the world. Our founder was a retired Airline Captain and a former Chairman of the U.S. Presidential Aviation Advisory Board. He was also past Vice President of the Airline Pilots Association (ALPA).
