Lawrence Gervais

Lawrence Gervais serves as the Director of Indigenous Relations and Procurement at Phoenix Energy Services Inc., an established indigenous-owned company operating in British Columbia and Alberta since September 2023. Prior to this role, Gervais was the Regional President of the Métis Nation of Alberta from September 2014 to August 2023, focusing on transparency, accountability, and the advancement of Métis people through self-reliance and self-determination. Gervais also held the position of Board of Governor at the Rupertsland Institute, contributing to research and professional development in partnership with the University of Alberta. With a background in education from Capilano University, Gervais has been instrumental in promoting partnerships that enhance education and employment opportunities for Métis communities.
