Greg Stangl has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Greg started their career as a Program Officer at UNDP in 1993, and then moved on to become an Investment Director at Copernicus Capital from 1998 to 2000. Following this, they joined BMHC as a Director of Planning from 2003 to 2006. In 2001, Stangl became a Board Member at Energy Investors, where they served until 2020. Greg then held positions at various organizations including Phoenix Energy as CEO since 2006, the Bioenergy Association of California as Past Chairman and Board Member since 2013, and UC Merced as a Member of the Board of Trustees since 2015.
From 1995 to 1998, Greg Stangl attended Columbia | SIPA, where they earned a Master of International Affairs (MIA) degree with a specialization in Economics. During this time, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Columbia Business School, although the field of study for the MBA degree is not specified.
