Elena Ayot

Elena Ayot currently serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Compliance Officer at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. since April 2023. Additionally, Elena is an Impact Investor and Member at Pipeline Angels and a Limited Partner at the Phoenix Fund, which focuses on early-stage ventures in the Harvard ecosystem. With a background in compliance and legal roles, Elena has held positions such as Advisory Council Member at START Treatment & Recovery Centers, and Of Counsel at The Bhatta Law Firm, P.C. Previous experience includes serving in compliance testing at Goldman Sachs and as Acting General Counsel at the Natural Resource Governance Institute. Elena has contributed to several boards, including The Amy Winehouse Foundation and the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus, and co-founded SanEle Group. Elena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston.
