Dorothy Brown

Dorothy is the Chief People Officer at the British Red Cross, a role she took up in June 2019. Prior to that, she held a number of senior positions in Her Majesty’s Revenue Customs (HMRC), including the Director of Tax operations where she was responsible for the 17,00 people who deliver all the operational activity for the UK's 40 million taxpayers.

Dorothy spent a substantial part of her career in the justice system where she held a number of roles in criminal and civil courts before becoming an HR professional and taking up the role of HR Director at the Ministry of justice.
