James Lyons, PhD, PMP

James Lyons, PhD, PMP has a varied work experience. James started their career as the Commandant at Combat Control School from March 2002 to March 2004. James then served as the Chief Master Sergeant at 21 Special Tactics Squadron from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, they became the President / CEO of Phoenix Global Support, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing specialized training and support services to the government. James has been instrumental in the growth and success of Phoenix Global Support. Additionally, since April 2009, they have been the Executive Officer of Combat Control School Heritage Foundation, overseeing project development and financial management for the Combat Control School Museum. Overall, James Lyons has demonstrated expertise in leadership, program management, and operational support throughout their various roles.

James Lyons, PhD, PMP has a diverse education history. In 2005, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business & Technology at Webster University. James continued their education and completed their PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University between 2009 and 2014. Additionally, in 2018, they obtained their Program Manager Professional Certification from the Program Management Institute.
