Lorna L.

Lorna L. has extensive experience in the finance and actuarial fields, currently serving as the Head of Risk and Governance at Phoenix Group since February 2022, where responsibilities include providing Group wide assurance for shareholder assets, ALM, Capital Management, and Insurance Risk. Previously, Lorna held the position of Actuarial Senior Internal Audit Manager and Actuarial Senior Internal Auditor at the same company. At Scottish Friendly, Lorna was an Actuarial Investment Manager from April 2016 to February 2022 and also owned Connect and Grow from January 2020 to November 2021. Additionally, Lorna served as an organiser for Women in Networking Glasgow from March 2018 to October 2019. Earlier career roles include Actuarial Trainee Consultant and Actuarial Analyst at Hymans Robertson and a Data Analyst position at Shell Gas. Lorna holds a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Economics and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, obtained between 2002 and 2006.
