Shaun Lazzari

Shaun Lazzari is a seasoned professional in risk modeling and quantitative analysis, currently serving as the Head of Methodology, Implementation & Results at Phoenix Group since January 2024, where responsibilities include enhancing regulatory capital models. Previously, Shaun held the position of Senior Manager at Legal & General from May 2017 to January 2024, focusing on credit risk modeling for the retirement investment portfolio, particularly in privately originated and structured assets. Prior experience includes a managerial role in the Analytics & Quantitative Modelling group at Deloitte from August 2010 to May 2017, where Shaun contributed to risk modeling methodologies and supported software development. Shaun began a career with a brief tenure as a Summer Analyst at JPMorgan in 2009, specializing in credit hybrids risk management. Shaun holds a MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, earned between 2007 and 2010.
