Austen Smith

Austen Smith has a diverse work experience, starting in 2003 as a Managing Editor at Digital First Media Inc. They then worked as a Marketing Manager at MotorCities National Heritage Area from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, Austen joined EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION as a Marketing & Communications Manager. After that, they became the Director of Integrated Marketing & Annual Giving at EMU Foundation from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Austen is the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Research Strategies at Phoenix Innovate, a position they have held since July 2020.

Austen Smith has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Eastern Michigan University, which was obtained between 1999 and 2003. Later, Austen pursued further education and earned a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Eastern Michigan University, completing this course of study between 2017 and 2019.
