Errol Gritten has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Errol began their career as a Part-Time Apprentice Mechanic at Quality Auto where they worked on light duty automobile repairs. Errol then moved on to Hauptman Plumbing as an Apprentice Plumber, where they gained experience installing boiler and HVAC systems, as well as septic systems for commercial and residential applications. Errol then worked as a Carpenter at RMR Group before becoming a Machinist at Gentry Customs. Errol then transitioned to ACME Architectural Steel where they worked as a Local 1456. After that, they joined Arenson Office Furnishings, also as a Local 1456.

After gaining experience in these roles, Errol took on the role of Dive Operations Manager at Substructure, where they oversaw a large shipping pier restoration project and managed dive operations for the installation of CuNI cooling pump well intakes at Proctor and Gamble's manufacturing facility in Boston. Errol then worked at Subsea Global Solutions as a Diver/Welder/Supervisor, where they were part of an elite team responsible for providing underwater repairs and engineering solutions for major cruise lines and shipping companies.

Errol's experience in underwater repairs led him to join Phoenix International as part of their Technical Operations team. In this role, they provided 24-hour worldwide response for underwater vessel repair and maintenance. Errol was responsible for various tasks, including underwater cold press propeller straightening, underwater dry habitat repairs, shell plating inserts, stern seal repairs, and dry thruster repairs for major propulsion systems. Errol also formulated class-approved procedures for vessel repair.

Throughout their career, Errol has demonstrated expertise in diverse industries, particularly in the field of underwater repairs and maintenance.

Errol Gritten has a diverse education history. Errol studied Mechanical Engineering at Montana State University-Bozeman. Errol also attended the Divers Institute of Technology to specialize in Commercial Diving. In 2009, they obtained an AWS d3.1:1999 - 'A' Class underwater welding certification - all position multi pass fillet welds from the Hydroweld training facility. Additionally, Errol trained at SPURS Marine in 2014, focusing on marine-related subjects. Errol also gained expertise as a Propeller Technician at Wartsilla in 2013 and as a Stern Seal Technician at Blohm & Voss. Errol holds several certifications including Unrestricted surface supplied diver from DCBC, Air Diving Supervisor from ADCI, and Certified Weld Inspector from AWS. Errol also obtained additional certifications in various disciplines from institutions such as Chevron, Red Cross, OSHA, and multiple welding organizations.
