Lipan Liu（Rock.D）

Lipan Liu, also known as Rock.D, has had a diverse work experience in the field of concept art. In 2016, they worked as the Art Director and Lead Concept Artist at SkyWalk Art Studio, where they oversaw the art assets for an animation film project and ensured a smooth workflow. Lipan then moved on to HYPEREAL, where they held the role of Art Director and Lead Concept Artist, contributing to the artistic direction of the company. In 2017, they worked as a Freelance Concept Artist at Toys For Bob, VOLTA, and Blizzard Entertainment, where they designed skins for the popular game Overwatch. Lipan also worked as a Freelance Concept Artist and Concept Design Consultant at Tencent, where they collaborated with the art team on an un-announced title, providing suggestions for character and weapon designs. In 2018, Lipan joined Epic Games and 343 Industries as a Freelance Concept Artist, and then went on to become the Concept Art Lead for Riot Games in their Hong Kong and Singapore studios. In this role, they led a team of artists, ensured the quality of their work, and sourced talent in China to develop and grow their concept art skills. Currently, Lipan Liu holds the position of Principal Concept Artist at Phoenix Labs, where they continue to contribute to the field of concept art.
