Dr. Lothar Schunk

Dr. Lothar Schunk has held several prominent roles in their work experience. Dr. Lothar joined Phoenix Mecano in 2016 and currently serves as the COO. Prior to this, they held positions such as Head of Operations & Technology, Managing Director, and Deputy COO at different subsidiaries of the company. Before joining Phoenix Mecano, they worked at Tetra Laval International as the Director of Process Office & Business Transformation. Their earlier experience includes working as a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group and as a Customer Project Manager at Oerlikon.

Dr. Lothar Schunk has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich (2005-2009). Dr. Lothar also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, General from FernUniversität in Hagen (2006-2010). Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart (1999-2005), as well as another Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2002-2004).
