Ellen Lee Chon currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Phoenix Property Investors since March 2022. Prior to this role, Ellen was Senior Managing Director of Private Equity at Warwick Investment Group from November 2020 to March 2022. Previous experience includes positions as Managing Director and Co-Head of Energy and Natural Resources for Asia Pacific at Natixis, and Managing Director, Global Head of M&A/Principal Investing at Noble Group. Ellen also held roles at Goldman Sachs as Vice President in Global Commodities Principal Investing, at Fortress Investment Group as Vice President in the Private Equity Group, and at Morgan Stanley as an Associate in the Investment Banking Division. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University.

Phoenix Property Investors (“Phoenix”) is a privately owned and managed private equity real estate investment group with a fully integrated real estate investment, project and asset management platform in Asia. Phoenix was founded in 2002 by Samuel W. T. Chu and Benjamin K. Y. Lee. Phoenix endeavors to seize value-oriented opportunities in developed Pan-Asian markets, including Japan, Australia, Korea and Hong Kong. We focus on three strategies: opportunistic, core plus/value-add, and secured debt. We have formalized fund-series as well as side-cars and separate accounts.
