Brian Brown has a significant amount of experience in engineering support for automated and robotic systems. Brian has held various roles throughout their career, including Director of Automation at Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC since 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Engineering and Maintenance Manager at Eldor Corporation from 2019 to 2020, where they provided support to the GM and managed a team of engineers and technicians. Brian also worked as a Molding Automation Engineering Manager at Magna-Power Electronics from 2014 to 2019, overseeing a team of technicians and engineers. Brian began their career as a Senior Controls Engineer at BREWER MACHINE & MANUFACTURING, INC. from 2008 to 2014 and as a Senior Automation Engineer at Toyotetsu from 2003 to 2008, where they supervised technicians and provided technical support. Brian started their career as an Automation Engineering Technician at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. from 1998 to 2003, where they designed and maintained automated machines and implemented advanced robot I/O structures.
Brian Brown has completed an Associate's degree in Controls & Electrical Engineering Technology from Technical Institute-Dayton. Brian has also obtained a Certificate in Electronics and Navigation Instrument Repair from the U.S. Navy Technical School. In addition to their formal education, Brian has acquired several certifications including ICS MST-MFG Systems Certification from ICS, Kawasaki C52 Programming Certification and Kawasaki UX-150 Maintenance Certification from Kawasaki Robotics, Motorman MRC, XRC, and NX Programming Certification from Motorman, OTC Daihen AX Programming and Maintenance Certifications from OTC DAIHEN, Inc., and Omron Advanced PLC Programming Certification from Omron Automation - Americas.
