Justin McCord

Justin McCord serves as the Middle School Assistant Principal at Phoenixville Area School District since August 2015, with previous roles including High School Assistant Principal Intern and Coordinator of Gifted Services. McCord has implemented significant improvements in the gifted services program, achieving an increase in success rates from 54% to 87.5%. A focus on equity and data analysis has guided the evaluation processes for student acceleration. Prior experience includes educational consulting for the National Math and Science Initiative and teaching high school social studies and various subjects at Daniel Boone Area School District, where innovative instructional methods were utilized. McCord holds a Master of Science degree in Online Teaching from Wilkes University, dual Bachelor's degrees in History and Secondary Education from East Stroudsburg University, and a Principal Certification from Eastern University.
