Louise Hickson Am

Louise Hickson AM is a highly accomplished academic and professional in the field of audiology, currently serving as Professor Emeritus and Executive Dean at The University of Queensland since June 1997. Hickson also holds the positions of Honorary Professor at the University of Hong Kong and Chair of the Expert Circle on Family-Centered Hearing Care at Phonak. Notable leadership roles include President of the International Society of Audiology and Chair of the Advisory Board for the Ida Institute. With a robust educational background from The University of Queensland, including a PhD in Audiology, Hickson has significantly contributed to the field as a project leader for HEARing CRC and as President of Audiology Australia.
