Joel Maloff

Joel Maloff is the current Senior Vice President, Strategic Alliances & Chief Compliance Officer at Phone.com. Joel has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Joel has held various positions in their career, including Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Joel started their telecommunications journey with BandTel, LLC in January 2008 as their Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Joel was responsible for all sales and marketing activities, including creating overall sales objectives, performance against objectives, management of sales and marketing personnel, competitive analysis, product development and planning, pricing, contracts, marketing communications, image creation, and support of the sales and distribution channels.

After a year and a half with BandTel, Joel moved on to Fusion Telecommunications International in March 2000 where they served as their Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Joel was responsible for engineering, operations, and information technology. During their time with Fusion Telecommunications International, Joel created and implemented both disaster recovery and information systems security policies and plans.

After six years with Fusion Telecommunications International, Joel moved on to GlobalTouch Telecom in December 2006 where they served as their Senior Vice President-Corporate Strategies. In this role, Joel was responsible for market analysis and the creation of product strategies and tactics.

Lastly, before coming to their current role at Phone.com, Joel served as Colorado Technical University’s previous company from October 2007 to January 2008.

Joel Maloff has a Doctor's Degree in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University, an MS in Information Systems Security from Colorado Technical University, and a B.S. in Mass Communications from Towson University.

They work with Brent Barbara - Chief Customer Officer, Rupesh Gupta - Director, Data, Billing & Reporting, and Yaron Globus - VP, Financial Optimization. Joel Maloff reports to Ari Rabban, CEO & Co-Founder.
