John Rainey

John Rainey currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Walmart since May 2022. Rainey is also a member of the Board of Directors at PhonePe, starting January 2024, and previously held a position on the Board of Directors at Nasdaq from January 2017 to January 2023. Prior to Walmart, Rainey was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Global Customer Operations at PayPal from January 2015 to May 2022 and served as the Executive Vice President and CFO at United Airlines from January 2010 to January 2015. Rainey began academic pursuits at Baylor University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in January 1993, followed by a Master of Business Administration in January 1995.
