Aamen Talukdar

Aamen Talukdar is an experienced Associate Research Scientist at Phool.co since January 2022, specializing in the optimization of liquid and solid-state fermentation strategies for the production of Fleather, a biodegradable alternative to animal leather. Key responsibilities include the curation and maintenance of a fungal species library and overseeing lab assistants. Previously, Aamen served as a Scientist in Product Development at Achira Labs Pvt. Ltd. from August 2019 to October 2020, where Aamen developed a microfluidics-based immunodiagnostic test panel and optimized assay times. Aamen's academic background includes an M.Tech in Biosciences and Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Heritage Institute of Technology.
