Lucas Hehir

Lucas Hehir is an experienced software developer with a strong background in virtual reality and interactive media. Currently serving as the Lead Software Developer at PHORIA since March 2018, Lucas has gained recognition as one of the first developers in Australia to work with Apple Vision Pro and has presented the Daintree Rainforest project, Julaymba, at SXSW Sydney 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a VR Software Developer/Designer at Contact Control Interfaces, where Lucas developed content for a haptics prototype glove, and as a Quality Assurance Analyst with Newpath WEB, focusing on web development for Apple. Lucas's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Game and Interactive Media Design and a Diploma of Multimedia from Victoria University.
