Brent Murata

Brent Murata is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Software Development at Phorus since September 2012, Brent has previously held key positions including Vice President of Software Engineering at Ikona Medical Corp. from 2010 to 2012, where responsibilities included managing product development and R&D initiatives for medical applications. Prior experience includes Principal Software Engineer at Harman Consumer Group, Director of Software Engineering at PhatNoise, Inc., and Associate Technical Staff at Texas Instruments. Brent holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, earned in 1999 and 1997 respectively.
