Ivo Gueorguiev

Ivo Gueorguiev is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in banking and embedded finance solutions. As a co-founder of Paynetics since March 2017, Ivo has been instrumental in providing comprehensive payment services across the EU and UK. Ivo serves on the Board of Directors for Banca Transilvania, Romania’s largest bank, and holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Salt Bank, Romania’s first fully digital bank. Additionally, Ivo is an early backer of Phos, a software POS solution innovator. Ivo co-founded TBIF Financial Services B.V., which operated across Central and Eastern Europe, and held the position of Chairman Of The Supervisory Board at TBI Bank Bulgaria. Previous roles include Senior Banker in the Financial Institutions Group at EBRD and Vice Chairman of the Board at Bankas Hermis in Lithuania. Ivo Gueorguiev holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Alberta and a Master's degree in International Business from the University of National and World Economy.
