Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Phoseon Technology

Zach Jochum has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Zach started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Haumiller Engineering in 2010 and stayed there until 2014. In 2015, they joined Eastman Kodak Company as a Manufacturing Engineer and worked there until 2018. Zach then moved to PAC Worldwide and served as a Process Engineer from 2018 to 2020, focusing on safety, quality, and operational improvements. Zach then joined Ball Corporation in 2020 as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt In Training and later transitioned to the role of Manufacturing Process Engineer, Lead. In this role, they successfully validated, tested, and implemented production data for a greenfield project plant start-up worth $140 million. Zach also managed the Through the Wall department, which delivered 400MM of product directly to Ball's customer via production conveyance. Zach's responsibilities also included using Lean tools to reduce spoilage by half in the Through the Wall department. Currently, Zach is working as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Phoseon Technology, starting in 2022.

Zach Jochum attended Purdue University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
