Chad McKee

Chad McKee has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chad is currently serving as the Head of Medical Affairs, North America at Photocure, where they are responsible for developing strategies and overseeing medical and clinical research activities. Prior to this, Chad worked at Astellas Pharma as an Oncology Field Director, providing leadership in the field of oncology. Chad also served as an Associate Director of Medical Affairs at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and as a Medical Science Liaison at Teva Pharmaceuticals, focusing on oncology and respiratory areas. Chad has also worked as a Senior Oncology Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and as a Visiting Scientist at Mount Sinai Health System. Chad gained valuable research experience as a Post Doctoral Researcher at University College London and as a Graduate Student at The University of Texas at Austin. Earlier in their career, Chad worked as a Medical Researcher at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Throughout their career, Chad has demonstrated expertise in medical affairs, research, and clinical leadership.

Chad McKee pursued higher education starting in 1994 at Kennesaw State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin in 2002 and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology in 2007.
