Bjorn Brandtzaeg

Bjorn Brandtzæg is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Photoncycle since September 2020, which focuses on long-term storage solutions for households. Bjorn also co-founded Clean Energy Group AS in May 2016 and previously led Clean Energy Invest AS, overseeing significant hydropower projects in Georgia, including the 187 MW Shuakhevi project. Additional leadership roles include CEO positions at Clean Energy Group Georgia and Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC, where strategic project developments were executed. Bjorn's earlier career includes consultancy roles with Econ, the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq, and the World Bank Group, complemented by a strong educational background that includes advanced management training at Harvard Business School and a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins SAIS.
