Stijn van den Broek is an experienced professional in event management and mobility consultancy. Currently serving as Event Manager at PhotonDelta since September 2022, Stijn previously held roles as Mobility Advisor and Marketer at both &Morgen and Syndesmo from August 2020 to August 2022. Stijn has extensive experience from Heliview Conferences & Training, where Stijn worked from October 2005 to March 2020, culminating in positions such as Event & Business Development Director and Mobility Cluster Lead, overseeing business management and mobility initiatives. Additional roles include leading conference teams and incubators and producing conferences on diverse topics. Stijn began a career in events as a Sales/Project Manager at DeFerrante Exhibitions & Conferences and Global Weighing as a MarCom intern, complemented by a degree in Marketing Communication Management from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.

PhotonDelta was created by mandate of the Dutch government in December 2018 to accelerate the emerging Dutch integrated photonics industry and was granted € 240 million to execute the national plan for photonics. In May 2022, PhotonDelta’s proposal for the Dutch national growth fund was successfully awarded €1,1 billion. These funds are meant to develop the ecosystem, industrialize production and develop application technology.
