Jan-Jurien De Rijck

Jan-Jurien De Rijck is currently the Business Development Manager at PhotonFirst. Jan-Jurien has over 9 years of experience in business development and operations management. Prior to joining PhotonFirst, Jan-Jurien was with Sensara for almost 3 years, where they held the positions of Commercial Director, Business Development Manager, and Operations Manager. During their time at Sensara, Jan-Jurien was responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy, setting up and scaling the commercial organization, and leading the sales, marketing, and product management teams.

Prior to Sensara, Jan-Jurien worked at GKN Aerospace for 4 years, where they held the positions of Manager Planning and Sales Support MRO, and Management Development Program. During their time at GKN Aerospace, Jan-Jurien was responsible for helping the company set up operations and preparing it for further scaling of the business nationally and internationally.

Jan-Jurien started their career as a Graduate Intern Supply Chain Management at Danone. Jan-Jurien then went on to become a Board of KEI committee member at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

Jan-Jurien holds a degree in Business Administration from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

Jan-Jurien De Rijck has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Industrial Engineering and Management - Product Technology & Logistics from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen / University of Groningen, a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Industrial Engineering from University of Barcelona, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Industrial Engineering and Management - Product Technology and Logistics from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen / University of Groningen. Jan-Jurien also has a VWO in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates from Stedelijk Gymnasium Nijmegen. In addition, they are certified by Salesforce as a Salesforce Certified Administrator and by IPMA: International Project Management Association as an IPMA Certified Project Manager. Finally, they are certified by KNHB as a Certified Hockey Trainer.
