Shabnam Shambayati is an experienced engineering professional in the hardware controls and clean energy sectors. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and Team Lead for Hardware Controls at Photonic Inc. since May 2022, Shabnam previously held the position of Senior Hardware Design Engineer for Clean Energy Solutions at Generac Power Systems from March 2019 to May 2022, following the acquisition of Neurio Technology Inc., where Shabnam worked as a Hardware Engineer from September 2014 to March 2019. Earlier roles include Manufacturing Test Engineer and Reliability Engineer at Schneider Electric, as well as a Researcher in the Microsystems and Nanotechnology Research Group at The University of British Columbia. Shabnam holds a Master of Applied Science in Photovoltaic Systems from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Integrated Engineering from the same institution.
