Stephanie Simmons

Stephanie Simmons is the Founder and Chief Quantum Officer at Photonic Inc., a position held since October 2016. In addition, Simmons has served as a Canadian Institute for Advanced Research Fellow in Quantum Information Science and as a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Nanoelectronics at Simon Fraser University since 2015. Prior to this, Simmons was an Assistant Professor of Physics. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Oxford, postdoctoral research at UNSW, and a Junior Research Fellowship at St. John's College, University of Oxford, along with a double honours degree in Mathematical Physics and Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
