Davy Simms

Davy Simms has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Davy started their career in 1999 as a Sales Manager at Olabs and later worked as an Investment Manager at Lifecare. In 2009, they became a Regional Sales Manager at Averna before taking on the role of Photonics Sales & Marketing Director at Yelo in 2010. At Yelo, they created equipment specifications and conducted market research. Simms then worked as Vice President of Marketing at Titan IC Systems, where they marketed cybersecurity analytics acceleration technology. In 2018, they joined Kainos as Head of Marketing for their Workday Automated Testing & Workday Implementation Partner. Simms briefly held the position of Vice President at Clevelmoney in 2018. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a WPA Healthcare Partner - Appointed Representative at WPA Healthcare Practice Plc. Currently, Simms is serving as the Head of Sales at Photonic Measurements since 2021.

Davy Simms completed their undergraduate education from 1990 to 1994 at Queen's University Belfast, where they earned a BSc degree in Computer Science and Psychology. Davy further pursued their education at Ulster University from 1994 to 1995, obtaining an MBA degree in Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, in July 2019, they obtained certification as an Appointed Representative of WPA Healthcare Practice Plc from the Financial Conduct Authority.
