Ryo Umeda

Ryo Umeda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ryo is currently serving as the Vice President of New Business Development at Photosynth Inc. since February 2022. Previously, they held multiple positions at Retty, Inc., including Executive Officer and VP of Ad Technology from October 2019 to January 2022, VP of Product Development from April 2018 to September 2019, Operations Manager from October 2017 to September 2019, and Lead of Business Development from April 2015 to September 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Corporate Planning Manager at OKWAVE Inc. from March 2013 to March 2015, and as a member of the Japan Association of New Economy during the same period. Ryo also has experience at GREE, Inc., where they served as the Global Operation Manager from May 2011 to March 2013. Ryo started their career at Proudfoot (Japan) Ltd. as a Senior Analyst and Consultant from January 2009 to May 2011, and previously worked in marketing and sales for overseas travel at Japan Airlines from April 2005 to January 2009.

Ryo Umeda completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Global Economy at Ritsumeikan University from 2001 to 2005.
