Arwid Thornström

Arwid Thornström has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Arwid currently works as a Senior Web Developer at Photowall since June 2020. Previously, they worked at Creuna as a Senior Frontend Developer from March 2018 to June 2020. At Creuna, they handled projects for clients such as Hallon, Swedish government, and more.

Prior to that, Arwid worked at myTaste as a Senior Frontend Developer from June 2015 to March 2018, where they played a pivotal role in rebuilding the entire website from scratch. During their tenure, the website gained monthly unique visitors in the millions worldwide.

Before myTaste, Arwid served as the Technical Director at CleverLearning AB from April 2013 to June 2015. In this role, they provided technical direction and coordination for all development and third-party projects, working with clients such as Försvarsmakten, Trafikverket, and Svenska spel.

Their work experience also includes being a Senior Interactive Developer at ACNE from June 2009 to 2013, where they worked on web production projects for clients like BMW, Saab, and H&M. Prior to that, they worked as an Interactive Developer at Syrup, where they created campaign websites for clients such as Hennessey, Chanel, and Svenska spel.

Arwid Thornström began their career as a Developer at Starring in 2007 and later as an Interactive Developer Intern at B-Reel in the same year. Arwid also worked at Lidhem Golfclub as a Shop employee and youth instructor from 2003 to 2005, where they managed the golf shop and held courses for children and youths under the guidance of Golfpro Henrik Engdahl.

Arwid Thornström completed their education in a computer and media science field. Arwid pursued their studies from 2004 to 2006 at Linnaeus University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (Fil. Kand). After that, they enrolled in a Main Course in Media at Hyper Island for a year, from 2006 to 2007.
