Markus Kirscht has over 30 years of work experience, with a diverse background in sales and business development. Markus began their career in 1987 as a Regional Sales Marketing Manager for various service and catering companies, where they worked until December 2001. In 2002, they joined PHOTOWATT INTERNATIONAL as a Senior Area Sales Manager and played a key role in the company's success in the French solar industry. Markus then moved to Blue Solar Energie Sarl in 2009, where they served as the Global Business Development Manager until January 2014. Since February 2014, they have been working as the Sales Director for EDF ENR PWT (Photowatt).
Markus Kirscht attended Business School Specialized in Marburg, Germany from 1992 to 1994, where they earned a State Degree in economie specializing in Management, Economics, and Gestion. During the same period, they also attended Hotelfachschule Marburg in Germany and obtained an Apprenticeship Guidance Degree. Prior to these studies, Markus completed their Apprentice Chef training at Kreiskrankenhaus Bad Berleburg in Germany from 1984 to 1987. In addition, they have pursued further education in Project Management at Algoé in Lyon, Quality Approach in Tourism Services at Bureau Veritas in Lyon, and Finance for Non-Financial specialists at EM Lyon.

Photowatt has been a pioneer in the solar-energy industry for more than 40 years. The company designs and produces silicon wafers, solar cells and photovoltaic modules using crystalline silicon.
