Christopher Guenard

Christopher Guenard is an experienced executive in corporate development and strategy within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development at Photys Therapeutics since October 2022, Christopher leads efforts in partnering, financing, and corporate strategy. Prior to this role, Christopher was Integration Lead at Sanofi, where responsibilities included overseeing the integration of Translate Bio and managing various organizational functions. At Translate Bio from July 2018 to September 2021, Christopher held multiple roles, culminating as Senior Director of Corporate Development and Strategy, where contributions included representing the company during a $3.2 billion acquisition by Sanofi. Previous experience includes significant positions in business development at Shire Pharmaceuticals, resulting in high-value licensing and acquisition deals, and early career roles at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, ClearView Healthcare Partners, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Christopher holds an A.B. in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology from Harvard University.
